the GIRL behind the lens
taking photos all around southeast, ga + southern sc.
The first camera I picked up was a Yashika 45mm that my mother used to take photos all around the U.S on her honeymoon in 1975. She was on the back of my father's Goldwing motorcycle & they were super in love. (still are, 50 years later) That love is what I capture. The raw, exhilarating, feel it in your cheeks kind of moments. The ones you'll never regret having on film.
As a mother of 4 boys, life happens wildly fast. Their tiny toes turned into big words & when we're talking about birth or family sessions; I will get those candid moments that translate into incredible stories placed carefully in frames.
The day I met my husband, Alec I had wished I could bottle up those feelings. The hair raising, heart fluttering joy. When your photos find their place into frames; my goal is to give you those experiences all over again.

I remember calling Stevie frantically after leaving my Doctor's office. They scheduled me for an Induction in 3 days and I thought I had time. I still feel like she knew, even though I was a stranger that I'd deliver my daughter before those 72 hours were up. I had not even filled out her Q+A, but she arrived to my labor room 12 hours after I called her. Stevie took the most incredible, love-filled photos of my birth that I still look at today. I was comfortable and she felt like a friend. We shared a few tears together when my daughter made her debut, but I was almost more speechless when she sent me the photo gallery. I got to relive it all over again.
